Bella Baxter - Album Release Concert

ella Baxter are a Berlin-based band: Think trip hop, spoken word, heavy guitars, strange little folk moments, electronic textures and Latin rhythms, sometimes all in the same song. On stage, instruments and roles keep changing, and the musicians move between guitars, synths, accordion, viola, percussion and vocals.

After seven independently released albums and two UK tours, Bella Baxter are back with Ofrenda: Poems of Devotion & Resistance. The album moves through topics around politics, migration, queer love, sex, pleasure and resistance. Frustrated and often at a loss with the world around them, they turned it all into a pretty unique yet incredibly fun to listen to album.
They’re celebrating the release with a special show in Berlin, joined by Francesca Villa.

Bella Baxter do pretty much everything themselves: writing, recording, producing, releasing, making zines and organising their tours. And they really love playing live. Expect a show that is a little unpredictable, a little strange and hopefully leaves you thinking, what exactly just happened?
The ticket money from this evening will help fund their third UK tour in November — getting a bunch of people and a rather unreasonable amount of instruments across the Channel.
